What does it mean to be alive? In this class, you go back to the basics and explore the key characteristics of life with hands-on activities, Live Animal Presentations, and more!

Why is the Earth just right for life? Join us to learn about Earth’s nearest neighbors, including how the Earth interacts with the Sun and Moon. You will model the solar system, moon phases, and enjoy a visit to the Museum’s Looking Up Exhibit.
Grades 7 – 12: Can You See It?
9:30 am & 11 am
$56 (+ tax) per participant, per semester (4 classes)
Explore things that seem to be invisible to human eyes. Discover microscopic structures and organisms using microscopes and stereoscopes. Participants will learn basic slide preparation and microscope skills while exploring small things and small worlds.
