Mushrooms and lichens and mold, oh my! In this class, you get to put the fun in fungus by thinking like a scientist as you observe real fungus specimens.

Journey deep underground and learn about the layers of the Earth and how they impact life on the surface, specifically how you can use the magnetic field to direct a compass. Participants will take home a model of the Earth’s layers from crust to core.
Grades 7 – 12: Making it BIG!
9:30 am & 11 am

Investigate atoms and molecules using models. Explore the structural properties of carbon, water, and DNA to learn more about natural phenomena. Participants will construct and use models of elements and molecules that make life on Earth possible.
