Insect Pinning Workshop

Come join us at the Cook Museum for a hands-on insect pinning workshop! This workshop is for all pinning levels. Participants will learn insect orders & anatomy, how to ethically collect & preserve insects, and learn the scientific pinning & labeling methods. Each participant will take home a box of pinned insects (an orange-barred sulphur butterfly, a jewel beetle, and a bee from the Museum’s colony).
Children 14 and under must be accompanied by an adult. Admission to the Exhibits is not included. Limited spots available.
