Insect Pinning Workshop

Come join us at the Cook Museum for another hands-on insect pinning workshop! This workshop is for all levels. Participants will learn insect orders & anatomy, how to ethically collect & preserve insects, and learn the scientific pinning & labeling methods. Each participant will take home a box of pinned insects, including a bee from the Museum’s colony. Each family group will have their own socially distanced table at which to work, whether you purchase one or more kits.
 
Limited spots available. Guests may register for their kits in person at the Guest Services desk in the Museum lobby or contact the Group Sales department during regular weekday business hours at groups@cookmuseum.org or (256) 898-6312. Admission to the Exhibits is not included.
