Put your hands together and get ready to make some friction! Participants will explore what friction is, how it is created, and why it is such an important force on Earth.

Grades 7 – 12: Structural Design in Nature
9:30 am & 11 am
$14 (+ tax) per participant, per class

From shells and skeletons to nests and dams, design patterns and principles are found throughout nature. Participants will explore the structure and function of structural designs found in the natural world.
