SOLD OUT: K – 2nd Grade Class: Fabulous Flowers
Flowers make the world a brighter and more beautiful place. In this class, you will explore the anatomy of a flower by completing a flower dissection, learn about pollination, and about the important animals that help flowers grow.
SOLD OUT: 3rd – 6th Grade: Geologist for an Hour
Come enjoy this highly interactive class that lets you identify minerals using tactics used by geologists! These tactics include color, luster, effervescence, streak, magnetism, cleavage, and hardness. After observing and evaluating mineral samples, you will use the data you collect to decide what kind of mineral you have tested.
7th – 12th Grade: Genetics
Come learn more about where different characteristics in organisms come from. In this class, you discover the importance of trait inheritance and genetic variations in species by examining case studies and three different species of Daphnia.
