Tumbleweed Cookies
What you need:
- 1 cup butterscotch chips
- ½ cup peanut butter
- 2 cups chow mein noodles
Directions:
- In a large bowl, microwave the butterscotch chips and peanut butter for 3 – 5 minutes or until the chips have melted, stirring after each minute.
- Remove from the microwave and stir in the chow mein noodles.
- Drop teaspoonfuls onto waxed or parchment paper.
- Let sit in the refrigerator until completely cooled and firm.
- Enjoy your snack while discussing how tumbleweeds and other desert plants are suited for their extreme environment.
