K – 2nd Grade: Amazing Animals – Amphibians
ALL TIMES SOLD OUT: 9:30 – 10:30 am, 11 am – Noon, or 1 – 2 pm
$14 (+ tax) per participant, per class
Let’s jump right into the semester by discussing our slimy, slippery friends, amphibians! In this class, participants will learn all about the characteristics of amphibians, focusing on their interesting life cycles. Participants will then get to compare some of the Museum’s real live Animal Ambassadors!
3rd – 6th Grade: Many Mighty Molecules
ALL TIMES SOLD OUT: 9:30 – 10:30 am, 11 am – Noon, or 1 – 2 pm
$14 (+ tax) per participant, per class
Water is one of the most amazing substances on Earth! What makes it so spectacular? In this class, participants will explore what makes water so essential to life, starting from what the molecule is made of and expanding until we see nature’s own ways to clean water.
7th – 12th Grade: Crazy Crustaceans – Dissection
9:30 – 10:30 am or 11 am – Noon
$26 (+ tax) per participant, per class
Participants will learn about the diversity of crustaceans and go over what separates them from other arthropods. Participants will get to see biofacts from a variety of crustaceans and get to dissect a blue crab.
